Healthy minds and healthy bodies have always been a goal of educating students at CSU [Colorado State University]. A nice warm day meant the students in a physical education class could enjoy lots of fresh air and sunshine in addition to getting some exercise. The lawn area east of Spruce Hall was a perfect place to do all of that. This photo was taken about 1910. The street in the background is South College Avenue
