Jack Hays, former film producer and director, who sued Shirley Temple’s parents, Mr and Mrs George Temple, for $500,000 on charges he discovered her as a screen prospect and held an exclusive contract for her services, reveals this photo in the case. He says it shows Shirley, Figure 1, with him, Figure 2, when he starred her in Kid’n Africa in 1934.
