As Marion Davies came back home from the east yesterday, the famous Cosmopolitan film star was invited to present a solid silver loving cup to Carl Laemmle, veteran producer, upon his return to California and health after a trip abroad in which he suffered a critical illness. Miss Davies, in center, is pictured presenting the cup on behalf of the WAMPAS, Writers’ club and Directors’ association, while Mr. Laemmle is shown ‘dipping into it’.
