Mrs Eva Coleman, the North London long distance swimmer and her eight year old daughter Edna are in strict training under Norman Derham, the Channel swimmer, for a forthcoming attempt on the Channel. Edna will be the youngest swimmer ever to attempt the Channel and this will be the first mother and daughter attempt, March 26, 1930
